The entries were for: John Alured, John Moore, Sir Gregory Norton, Bart., Peregrine Pelham, and Vincent Potter, all of whom had been omitted by oversight in the original edition of the Dictionary of National Biography. [Note: this is the standard biographical reference work in the field of British history.]
