PARIS
Robert beside the tombstone of the mediaeval alchemist Nicholas Flamel, which was once in the Church of Saint-Jacques le Boucherie in Paris. That wonderful old church was demolished long ago except for its tower, the Tour Saint Jacques, which is currently undergoing reconstruction and is surrounded by scaffolding. Nicholas Flamel, reputed to have been head of the Order of the Priory of Sion (which may or may not have existed, just as Nicholas Flamel may or may not have been a real name), is mentioned in the novel THE DA VINCI CODE but this tombstone, with its bizarre symbols, is a key to the puzzle which Dan Brown missed! In fact, Robert has discovered many things which Dan Brown missed, and may have a thing or two to say about them one of these days. For instance, Robert has decoded a number of inscriptions and symbols which no one has previously figured out. But, sssshhhhhhhh!! He who knows keeps silence, those who do not can never stop blarting like donkeys.
