FILMING OF 'DESCENT INTO HELL' IN GREECE AND ITALY
The entrance to the Sibyl's Grotto at Cuma, seen from the lower level
of the acropolis. The path up to the acropolis runs across the top of it, as
it seems also to have down in antiquity. The Grotto itself opens out repeatedly
into the side of the hill on the right along its whole length, just as described in the Aeneid.
